Medicine is my vocation and passion.
I am the proud daughter and granddaughter of Doctors and I have always wanted to study and practice medicine from as early as I can remember. I was born in Western Australia in Derby where my Dad was in the RFDS and I am the first Aussie in my family.
I spent my formative years in the North West, coming to Perth for schooling and I graduated from UWA in 1996.
I am a member of the Royal Australian College of General Practice and have devoted my career to bettering the health of all people. I am passionate about social justice and have worked widely in Rural and Remote Communities, with Aboriginal people, Homeless at Street Doctor in Fremantle, Palliative Care and people with mental health illness including Headspace and Graylands. I love being at Floreat Medical as it provides me with a good patient balance and I enjoy seeing families, children, adolescents and doing women’s health, minor procedures (including implanon and iron infusions), suturing, plasters and removing small skin lesions.
I have three gorgeous children and love reading, catching up with friends, being outdoors and travelling when time allows
