Graduated from the University of Sydney in 1998 with a bachelor of Science (Hons), before completing his medical degree in 2001. Cain has a keen interest in remote and rural medicine, having worked around Australia and Christmas Island. He is a strong advocate of evidence-based medicine. Cain is currently a Registrar supervisor for R.A.C.G.P and A.C.R.R.M.
A motorcycle enthusiast, he spends as much time as he can riding in the bush or planning his next adventure ride to far flung places.
