Dr. Bonnie Taylor attended the University of New South Wales, completing her final two years at the Coffs Harbour Rural Campus and graduating with Bachelor of Medicine and Doctorate of Medicine in 2013. Embracing the sand and sunshine of the Coffs Coast she then undertook both Internship and Residency years at the Coffs Harbour Health Campus. Dr. Bonnie focused her training on areas of specific use in the General Practice setting: Paediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Mental Health and Emergency Medicine. Dr. Bonnie Taylor has always had a special interest in Rural Medicine and a strong connection with country life, having grown up in Central West NSW. In 2016 she made the decision with her husband to move to Central Queensland to commence her specialist General Practice training in the agricultural and mining hubs of Emerald and Blackwater. During this time Dr. Bonnie completed advanced training in Mental Health, Contraceptive advice and application, Skin Cancer Medicine as well as honing various procedural skills. Dr. Bonnie has since moved back to the Coffs Coast to settle with her young family. She remains connected both professionally and personally to the Central Queensland community, and is thrilled to provide ongoing comprehensive medical service and care to her patients, both on the Mid North Coast and in Central Queensland.
