Dr Bernard Lee obtained his medical degree in 2009 from the National University of Ireland, Galway. He worked for four years in several tertiary hospitals in Ireland before moving to Australia in 2013 to take up positions at St George, Sutherland, Gosford and Wyong Hospitals. This hospital experience included work across general and aged care medicine, paediatrics, and emergency medicine.

In 2015 Dr Lee moved into General Practice and has spent four years practicing as a GP in rural NSW. Working as a GP in a rural setting has provided Dr Lee with strong experience in all aspects of General Practice medicine and allowed him to build strong ongoing relationships with his patients and the community.

He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP), and has post-graduate qualifications in Paediatrics and Family Planning. He is an accredited Implanon and Yellow Fever vaccine provider, and accredited HIV s100 Prescriber.

Clinical Areas of Interest : General Medicine, Chronic Illness, Aged Care, Paediatrics, Family Planning, Men's Health, Sexual Health (including being LGBTQIA friendly) and HIV medicine.

Personal Interests : Bernard enjoys music and is a keen succulent gardener (he would like patients to share their favourite tunes or their gardening interests with him!). He is a qualified gym instructor and enjoys making health and fitness a part of his everyday life.
