Dr Ben Tsang trained as a Neurologist in Melbourne through the Austin and Alfred hospitals, which are renowned for their expertise particularly in headache medicine and neuro-otology – the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the balance organs, including the complicated vestibular system which is responsible for the very common symptom of vertigo.
Dr Tsang then complimented this training with a year in London at the Royal Free Hospital, followed by a post-Fellowship year at the Neuro-Otology Department of the National Hospital of Neurology and Neurosurgery in London ("Queen Square").
Dr Tsang is also interested in the use of botulinum toxin, particularly in the management of chronic migraine, and presents regularly to professional groups and conferences on the management of headaches.
He has a hospital appointment at SCUH.
