Dr. Jackson completed her Medical Degree in 1974.
She then undertook further training to obtain a Diploma in Anaesthetics and a Diploma in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
Dr Jackson has worked in the Blaxland area on and off for over 30 years. She is well known and respected in the local community.
She is also a member of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Dr. Jackson provides general medical care, shared ante-natal care and has a particular interest in Women’s health, geriatrics and also palliative care. She also provides continuing care to many patients in various Aged Care facilities in the lower Blue Mountains and Emu Plains.
For many years, Blaxland Family Practice has been a teaching practice, employing GP Registrars at every level of their training, and providing practical experience for nursing and medical students. Dr Jackson has always been involved in this training, and keeps her skills in this area honed by regular attendance at training seminars.
