Dr Barbara Beuthe completed her medical degree at Free University, Berlin, Germany. During her anaesthetic training in Germany and South Africa, Dr Beuthe gained experience in a broad spectrum of hospitals, from university hospitals through to remote hospitals. She qualified as a Specialist Anaesthetist in Germany in 2004 and then relocated to Western Australia in 2006. After obtaining the Australian Specialist qualification, Dr Beuthe worked in the public sector in Darwin and country NSW before returning to WA in 2016.
Professional Interests
Dr Beuthe has a wide range of experience in general anaesthesia, regional anaesthesia and sedation techniques, with special interests in anaesthesia for maxillofacial/ENT, orthopaedics, obstetrics & gynecology, plastics and general surgery.
