Dr. Damodaran graduated with honours from UNSW before undertaking physician training at Prince of Wales and other major Sydney teaching hospitals. He is an enthusiastic teacher and, in addition to his clinical qualifications, has a postgraduate degree in medical education. He gained extensive experience as a consultant rheumatologist at Liverpool Hospital from 2005 until 2011, where he was also the Director of Physician Education.
Dr. Damodaran joined our practice in 2012 when he was appointed as a Rheumatology Specialist at Prince of Wales Hospital, Randwick and Senior Lecturer for UNSW. He is the Director of the Clinical Teaching Unit which looks after medical students at Prince of Wales Hospital.
