Dr Arthur Adeney graduated in 1967 from the London Hospital Medical College. He worked as a missionary doctor in Tanzania for 12 years where he was in charge of the district hospital in Ngara. He then moved to Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre, a Tertiary Referral Hospital where he developed a special interest in anaesthetics. On moving to Australia in 1982, he worked in a large surgery in Muswellbrook for many years before moving to the Central Coast where he enjoys all aspects of general practice. Dr Adeney has over 30 years experience and has a special interest in minor surgical procedures. He enjoys spending weekends with his family that includes 10 grandchildren.
