Dr Ann McCormack is a staff specialist in the Department of Endocrinology at St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney and Head of the Hormones and Cancer Group at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research. She is chair of the St Vincent’s Campus pituitary multidisciplinary team and founded the Sydney Pituitary Collaborative Group. With a broad endocrine clinical practice, her primary research interests are in the field of pituitary disease, particularly pituitary tumour genetics and aggressive pituitary tumours. Her research also extends into investigating the link between obesity and cancer development. She is a recipient of the John Shine Translational Research Fellowship and recently an Accelerated Leadership Performance Program scholarship and has research grants from Cancer Council Australia and St Vincent’s Clinic Foundation.
