Dr Anjali Sainani is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand of Psychiatrists. She has completed her basic and advanced adult generalist training in psychiatry at various hospitals around Brisbane including the Princess Alexandra, Mater adults, Mater mothers and Redlands hospital.
Dr Sainani has a vast experience in adult clinical psychiatry managing and treating psychosis, mood and anxiety disorders with both medical and psychological treatment options. Her special interests are in managing clients with mood and anxiety disorders, co-existing mental and physical illness including chronic pain, women’s mental health including mental health problems associated with pregnancy, childbirth and the first post natal year.
She has had a training in acceptance and commitment therapy and mindfulness.
She also accepts work cover, telehealth and transcultural referrals. Her treatment philosophy is focused on a holistic approach combining pharmacology and psychotherapy with the aim of maximizing a client’s quality of life.
