Dr Anita Campbell (GP)

Dr Anita Campbell is the Practice Principal, she was born in New Zealand and grew up in Perth. She completed her medical studies at Notre Dame University and has achieved a Specialist Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She has enjoyed a range of experiences including working locally in general practice and at Royal Perth Hospital. She recently spent three years working in The Kimberley in rural and remote settings. She also completed specialty training in Mental Health and Drug and Alcohol counselling. Dr Campbell is passionate about health and wellbeing and has developed a weight loss programme called Pulse which has been very popular and successful. She loves working with young people and has experience working at Headspace and Cyrenian House Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation.

Her specialties are: Mental health, Women's health and Antenatal care, Indigenous and Refugee health, Weight loss support, Sports Medicine, Adolescent & Sexual Health and Chronic Disease management and prevention.

When not at work Anita enjoys keeping active and watching footy, she is a diehard Dockers fan! She is also the author of "Good Friends Bring Salad" published by Wakefield Press in 2005.
