Dr Aniruddha Mitra was born in India. He graduated from Calcutta University. He undertook specialist Orthopaedic training from Ireland before travelling to Adelaide for successive speciality fellowship training in adult orthopaedic trauma and lower limb arthroplasty (joint replacement). He has also completed a masters in sports & exercise medicine.
His special interest lies in the field of hip & knee replacement surgery and treatment of complex fractures of both upper and lower limbs and the pelvis. He has extensive experience in managing complex fractures, including deformity correction, Hip & knee replacement surgery including revision surgery.
