Dr Andrew Terluk (Cardiologist)

Dr Andrew Terluk specialises in general adult cardiology, with research interests in cardiac echocardiography. Originally from Canada, Dr Terluk received an international merit scholarship in 2006 to study medicine at the University of Sydney and subsequently graduated with honours in 2009. He went on to complete his postgraduate Cardiology training at Liverpool Hospital in Sydney. In the past two years, Dr Terluk has presented scientific posters nationally and internationally at the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand (Melbourne and Adelaide, AUS) and Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics (San Francisco, USA). Dr Terluk is currently involved in scientific research, including the echocardiographic assessment of right heart function and cardiac failure in the context of cancer.

Dr Terluk has extensive training and experience in acute and emergency cardiac conditions and performs angiography, transoesophageal echocardiography and Dobutamine stress echocardiography, as well as cardioversions and pacemaker implantation.

Dr Terluk is a Member of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand. Practising at Bella Vista.
