Andrea graduated at Sydney University in 1984 and became a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists in 1994 Andrea has been in private practice since 1994 mainly in Mosman. She served rural areas for over a decade with regular clinics in Bathurst. In recent years she has also worked in Tasmania, both Launceston and Hobart. She was the first dermatologist to join the Melanoma Institute of Australia in January 2009 to extend dermatology specialist services to its multidisciplinary framework. Andrea aims to improve the early diagnosis of melanoma in high risk individuals, care for their other sun related skin problems and carefor patientss who may have skin conditions associated with treatment modalities for melanoma.
