ABOUT DR AMY CHAMBERS FRACGP MBBS DCH
Dr Amy Chambers completed her medical degree at Monash University in 2008. Amy started her first two years of training in Bendigo before moving to Brisbane to complete her General Practice training, successfully completing her specialist examinations in 2014.
Amy is interested in all aspects of family medicine. She has undergone further qualifications in paediatrics, family planning, women’s health and pregnancy care. Amy is aligned to both the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and Mater Mothers Hospital to offer shared antenatal care.
In practice, Amy takes a wholistic approach to providing comprehensive care and treatment. She is thorough yet sensitive and responsive to her patients’ needs. She particularly enjoys being part of her patients’ journey and assisting them in all stages of their lives.
Recently becoming a mother herself in 2022, Amy works part time and has an appreciation and understanding of the trials of parenthood, and brings this knowledge and experience to better care for her patients.
