Dr Amir is an Iranian doctor who grew up in Shiraz, the city of wine and poetry! He studied medicine at Shiraz University and has recently moved from the UK, where he lived and worked for the last 8 years. He has been a doctor for 17 years. He worked in emergency medicine for 10 years with experience in rural areas as well as busy London hospitals. He moved on to general practice 6 years ago completing his GP training in Hertfordshire, UK. He has been a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners since 2011 and a Fellow of the RACGP since 2013. He is interested in chronic care for diabetes, asthma and kidney diseases and the elderly. He also has an interest in Ear, Nose and Throat and Paediatrics. He has 2 young, handful boys and loves spending time with his young family going to the beach and exploring our beautiful country.
