I initially graduated from UWA with an honours degree in Psychology and then progressed to complete a Masters in Counselling. Following work as a school psychologist in a private girls boarding school, I decided to broaden my skill set and embark on a post-graduate medical degree.

I completed this through Notre Dame and early experience working at King Edward Memorial Hospital fostered a strong interest in women’s health and I have a diploma in this area. Acquiring my General Practice Fellowship has provided me with a broad range of experiences and interests, while I continue to have a special interest in women’s health and psychology.

My areas of expertise within women’s health include antenatal and postnatal care, promotion of adolescent female health and education, preventative health and contraception and I am skilled in inserting both Mirena and Implanon contraceptive devices. I also have a special interest in menopause and have undergone training to perform MonaLisa Touch treatment.

I continue to utilise my extensive experience and interest in mental health and enjoy promoting a multidisciplinary approach to mental health issues.

I am married with two young girls who keep me very busy. Spare time is usually spent with my husband, daughters and extended family.
