Dr Alice Tang (Endocrinologist)

Dr Alice Tang completed medical school at the University of New South Wales after which she did general medicine training in various hospitals across Sydney and country NSW.


She progressed to endocrinology advanced training at St George Hospital, Nepean Hospital and the Garvan Institute of Medical Research / St Vincent’s Hospital, after which she was awarded her Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP). She then went on to do a PhD specialising in obesity and metabolic health at the Garvan Institute. She has taught medical students and doctors-in-training, published in peer-reviewed journals and presented in national and international conferences.


She is a member of the Endocrine Society of Australia, Australian Diabetes Society and the US Endocrine Society. She is also committed to continuing professional education.


In addition to seeing patients at her Hornsby private practice, she has a Visiting Medical Officer appointment at St Vincent’s Hospital, Darlinghurst. Alice accepts referrals for general endocrinology, including diabetes.
