Dr Alexandra Varol graduated from Medicine at The University of Newcastle in 1998. After working in general medicine for a number of years she developed an interest in dermatology and undertook a period of research on skin healing and rejuvenation in Australia, Sweden and Switzerland. She was admitted to the degree of Master of Science (Medicine) at The University of NSW in 2004. Subsequently, Dr Varol undertook extensive specialist training in dermatology at St Vincent’s, Royal North Shore and Liverpool Hospitals as well as The Skin and Cancer Foundation and was admitted as a fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists. She has published a number of research and clinical papers in peer-reviewed Australian and European Dermatology Journals. Dr Varol is skilled in a broad range of medical and surgical dermatology, laser treatments and skin care. She has a keen interest in the art of cosmetic medicine and takes pride in achieving quality, precise aesthetic results for her cosmetic clients.
