Dr Alex Rodgers has been a consultant gastroenterologist since 2005. He does regular consulting and endoscopy lists at Flinders Private Hospital, Glenelg Community Hospital and a weekly clinic at Belair Visiting Specialists. Dr Rodgers graduated from the University of Adelaide in 1997 and trained in gastroenterology at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital followed by a clinical fellowship at the Royal Infirmary Edinburgh, UK. He was awarded his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians in 2005 and was also recognised in endoscopy and colonoscopy training by the Conjoint Committee in 2005. He is a senior staff specialist on the Gastroenterology / Hepatology unit at Flinders Medical Centre where he has worked since 2005. In addition to general gastroenterology and endoscopy / colonoscopy, he has an interest in hepatology and management of chronic liver disease.
