Aisha completed her medical degree at the University of New South Wales. She then spent the next two years undertaking internship and residency at Royal North Shore Hospital where she completed rotations in General Medicine, Orthopaedic Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Paediatrics and Obstetrics & Gynaecology. She has completed additional training and holds the Diploma in Child Health as well as the FPAA National Certificate in Reproductive & Sexual Health. She is also an accredited antenatal shared care GP with Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Canterbury Hospital. Aisha knew she wanted to become a General Practitioner early on in her medical training, and she subsequently has attained Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. The diversity of general practice and the ability to continue caring for a patient from an early age through to adulthood is an experience she finds very rewarding. She cherishes being able to give back to the community through her work. She endeavours to establish a non-judgmental, therapeutic relationship with all of her patients; a relationship founded in trust and confidentiality. She is a firm believer in continuing education and the importance of keeping up-to-date given the evolving nature of medicine. Outside of medicine, Aisha enjoys spending time with family and friends. She enjoys curling up in bed and reading one of her favourite novels at the end of a work day.
