Following her neurology training at the Royal North Shore and Westmead Hospitals, Ainhi Ha completed a clinical fellowship at the Parkinson’s Disease Center and Movement Disorder Unit at Baylor College of Medicine in the United States, where she published several first-author publications in international peer-reviewed journals, in addition to reviews, book chapters and other resources in movement disorders. Ainhi is now undertaking an NHMRC-funded PhD researching the molecular biological aspects of Parkinson’s disease. She is studying the role of mitochondrial function in Parkinson’s disease. She has also received a Pfizer neuroscience grant to support a clinical study at Westmead Hospital. Ainhi has joined Westmead with a 0.2FTE position in the department of Neurology.
