Dr. Susantha Abeysinghe is a flexible and broadly experienced doctor who has been in medical practice for over 13 years. He completed his Medical degree at the University of Ruhuna in Sri Lanka and gained nearly six years of experience in a variety of hospitals in different specialties in Sri Lanka. He was a Senior Medical Officer in Paediatrics, Intensive care, and anesthesiology.
In addition to his hospital work, Dr. Abeysinghe worked as a General Practitioner from 2005 to 2011 in Sri Lanka.
Dr. Abeysinghe worked as a Carrier Medical Officer in Emergency departments of Campbelltown Hospital and Fairfield Hospital in Sydney for 3 years. He started his work as a General Practitioner in Australia since 2015. He completed his DCH ( diploma in child health ) at the University of Sydney in 2016. He enjoys all aspects of General Practice but has a special interest in pediatrics, Orthopaedics, General Medicine and Preventative Health. He really enjoys the variety and challenges found in all areas of General Practice.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Abeysinghe loves following sports, especially cricket.
He is a full-time GP at our clinic and speaks English and Singhalese.
