The current Doncaster Eye Centre was established by Drs Troy Lim Joon, Alex Poon and Maged Atalla in 1999. The building is an architect designed, purpose-built ophthalmology clinic, which was completed in 2004.

The practice has since expanded and we now have eleven ophthalmologists all with varying expertise, providing exemplary eye care for our patients. Doncaster Eye Centre has recently amalgamated with Hawthorn Eye Clinic (HEC). Dr Mark Ellis has been joined by Drs Poon, Lim-Joon, Atalla, Au, Chow, Chong and Tran in providing ophthalmology services at HEC.
