Diana is an enthusiastic, competent and professional clinician with extensive clinical and research expertise in clinical psychology and clinical neuropsychology. She holds general registration as a psychologist as well as specialised endorsement in the practice of clinical neuropsychology with the Psychology Board of Australia. Diana attained her first Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology in 2011 and completed her second Master of Science degree in Clinical Neuropsychology at Macquarie University in 2015. Diana is a qualified clinical neuropsychologist with extensive experience assessing the cognitive and behavioural functioning of adults, adolescent and children with acquired and neurodevelopmental brain condition. She works at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Westmead Hospital, as well as Neuropsychology Unit, Neurology Department at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney. She also involved in the co-supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate students’ research projects at UTS. Diana has extensive experience in adult neurology, including assessment of cognitive impairment in traumatic brain injury, stroke, epilepsy and dementia. Clinically, her work focuses on neuropsychological assessment, memory rehabilitation and recommendations for patients, cares, and their treating team to maximise cognitive function. Diana has been working with toddlers, children and adolescents in community and hospital settings. Her clinical work entails diagnostic and developmental evaluations, formulation of treatment and management plans, and behaviour consultation services to children and adolescents with emotional/behavioural difficulties, and neurodevelopmental disorder (i.e., Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Intellectual Disability, Learning Disability and Motor Disorders). She is also committed working closely with various health professionals, including Paediatricians, allied health team and also liaises with preschool/school educators, towards improving her client’s overall well-being. She is skilled in using various therapeutic approaches including acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness therapy and play-based technique in her work. Diana is involved in the research and specialises in the area of memory rehabilitation in patients with various neurological disorders. She is an associated investigator for the Memory Node of the ARC Centre of Excellence in Cognitive and its Disorder (CCD). She published her research in peer-reviewed journals and has presented her research work in national and international conferences. Diana has been appointed as a journal editor of Alzheimer’s Dementia & Cognitive Neurology (ADCN) since 2016.
