. Danny has had experience in a variety of settings ranging from schools to community organisations and has been in private practice for a few years. His approach to counselling is person-centred and uses evidence based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). However, he develops treatments based on the individual presentations. Danny will consider any issues that present from clients. He primarily works with adult clients. He has particular interests in depression, anxiety, substance abuse/addiction, relationship/family problems, issues affecting those who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and intersex, workplace issues (including bullying, harassment), anger problems, trauma and grief. He has also had experience with working with clients on corrections orders and involvement with the Department of Human Services. Danny is available at our Southbank office.
