Danielle is a psychologist registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honors, Psychology), Bachelor of Business and Master of Psychology (Counselling) degree. Danielle works collaboratively with clients to understand their challenges and provide a safe and non-judgemental space to explore their experiences. Depending on the client, she draws on approaches from positive psychology, solution-focused therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) and emotion focussed therapy to assist people in developing adaptive strategies to live a full and meaningful life. She has experience with clients facing challenges in relationships, stress management, self-esteem, health issues, depression, anxiety, grief and loss and those looking to career change, enhance well-being, understand and utilise personal strengths or articulate a personally meaningful direction. Danielle believes in the value of therapy not only for improving mental health, but also to create a more vital, fulfilling and meaningful life. She believes in the value of a holistic approach balancing psychology (the way we think and our emotional intelligence), productivity (the effectiveness of our choices and the actions we take), physiology (the way we eat and move) and recovery (resilience, self-care and the way we balance stress). Danielle is also a business consultant and facilitator, who works across corporate, government and non-profit sectors with leading organisations in Australia and abroad. Dnaielle is available at the Little Collins Street city office on weekdays
