Daniel grew up on a dairy farm 10km north of Barham, NSW. Throughout school he pursued a number of extra-curricular activities such as student council, debating, community radio and sporting pursuits like tennis, cricket and squash. At age 16, Daniel suffered a rapid loss of the majority of his vision due to a rare genetic condition that himself and his family were unaware of. This did not diminish Daniel’s desire to chase his dream of becoming a physiotherapist and only enhanced his passion to work in the health field to give back to people in the same he has received help.
Daniel continued to pursue his sporting passion following his vision loss and has represented Australia in blind cricket, triathlon and duration. Daniel can regular be spotted at local fun runs.
Daniel is currently undertaking additional study in pain science.
“I enjoy working with people from all backwards and working to tailor a treatment to their individual needs. I am passionate about advocating for people with a disability, working with the sporting population and helping people dealing with chronic pain management.”
