Established in 2002 by Drs Bob Lodge and Penny Hall with a view to creating a high-quality, state-of-the-art hub of specialist services in a peaceful and respectful environment.

A specific aim was to limit the tyranny of distance that curtails access to specialist services in regional/rural areas.

The welcoming nature of the Consulting Centre set in a converted Federation-style guesthouse reflects these aims.
