Dr Kerwyn Foo is a radiation oncologist and senior staff specialist at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Concord Hospital. Kerwyn grew up in Sydney, and graduated from the University of Sydney in 1999. He completed his FRANZCR in 2005, training at Westmead and Nepean Hospitals. Kerwyn then moved to the UK for a fellowship in urological clinical oncology at the Royal Marsden Hospital in Surrey. He has been consultant radiation oncologist since 2006, first at Wollongong Hospital and, since 2010, at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. Kerwyn joined Lifehouse at the start of its clinical service in 2013. He looks after patients with urological cancers, head & neck cancers and haematological malignancies. A Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Sydney since 2010, he is the director of radiation oncology training at RPA and an Examiner for the RANZCR. His main research interests and publications are in the field of radiation side effect prediction in prostate and head & neck cancer. Kerwyn lives in Sydney’s Inner West with his family, and outside of work enjoys science fiction TV, classical music and helping to run his daughter’s primary school P&F association.
