Dr Pyke is a General Surgeon specialising in breast and endocrine surgery. He commenced his private practice at the Wesley in 1991 and also holds a public appointment at the Mater Hospital, Brisbane.
Dr Pyke received his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Queensland. He was awarded his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 1989 and his Fellowship of the American College of Surgeons in 1997. His post fellowship training was undertaken in Nottingham (UK) and Mayo Clinic (USA). Dr Pyke also holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of Queensland which was awarded in 2004.
