Over the past decade, Tristan has worked within non-profit and private practice settings in Queensland and Western Australia to provide psychological support and counselling services to people with diverse and complex needs.
He is a master’s-trained psychologist with full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia and is an approved provider for: Medicare (Mental Health Care Plans, Psychological Services Program (formerly ATAPS), Suicide Prevention, ATSI), Department of Veteran Affairs, and Queensland Work Cover services.
Tristan aims to be flexible and tailors his care to each individual client. He draws on a range of techniques from cognitive behaviour therapy, motivational interviewing, interpersonal therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy skills, and mindfulness, all within a solution-focused and strengths-based framework.
