The Hollywood Clinic is a 70-bed unit providing excellence in acute psychiatric in-patient and day-patient care for private patients, self-funded patients and entitled veterans and war widow/ers.
Previously a 40-bed in-patient facility, a new wing was opened in 2014 which includes 30 new single rooms with ensuite bathrooms, a dining room with alfresco area that accommodates 120 day and in-patients, an additional group therapy room, a patient lounge room and a courtyard with decking.
The new facilities have been designed with patient well-being and comfort as a priority. Large windows maximise the presence of natural light and communal areas such as an internal courtyard and alfresco area promote socialisation.
Careful planning has resulted in the provision of treatment-specific therapy area rooms. Day-patient and in-patient areas are discreet.
Located within the grounds of Hollywood Private Hospital, patients have the benefit of easily accessible acute care hospital services and facilities if required. Several psychiatrists have their rooms adjacent to the facility in the Hollywood Specialist and Medical Centres.
There is plenty of on-site parking close to the Clinic. Perth's CBD and Subiaco are minutes away and the Hampden Road café strip is just a short stroll.
The Hollywood Clinic is a smoke free unit.
- Innovative treatment programs
The Hollywood Clinic offers a diverse range of specialised treatment programs which are developed in conjunction with our accredited psychiatrists.
In addition to the specialised group treatment programs, The Hollywood Clinic also provides individually tailored therapy programs developed in consultation with the admitting psychiatrist. Relaxation and mindfulness meditation is offered each day and is seen as an important part of the therapy at The Hollywood Clinic.
Our programs are conducted by a carefully selected, skilled and experienced multidisciplinary team of health professionals which includes clinical psychologists, registered mental health nurses, occupational therapists, social workers, art therapist, physiotherapists and dieticians.
