Welcome to Surgery Central, a specialist surgical practice in the Newcastle area, serving the Hunter and Mid-North Coast of New South Wales, Australia. Four General Surgeons work at Surgery Central. Their expertise covers all areas of Abdominal Surgery, Endocrine Surgery and Obesity Surgery. Each surgeon has their own areas of particular interest and expertise (as you can see if you hover the mouse over the map to the right).

All four surgeons see both public and private patients in the Surgery Central consulting rooms in the Lake Macquarie Specialist Medical Centre, and all four surgeons operate at both public and private hospitals. Also within the practice are ancillary services including two dietitians and two nurses.
