The Stables building was built in 2008 in the footprint of the original stables of 248 Queens Parade, which has been the home of Clifton Hill Medical Group since 1905. The Stables provides outpatient consulting rooms and administrative assistance to independent specialist psychiatrists and psychologists, as well as housing a Melbourne Pathology Collection Centre.
Referrals
Psychiatry and psychology patients require a referral from their general practitioner before their initial appointment. These can be faxed or mailed to reception, and the administrative staff will follow up with you regarding an appointment. For regular patients ongoing GP referrals will be required over time for you to claim a Medicare rebate for your visits. Further information is available by phoning reception.
