Professor Peter Jones graduated from the University of Sydney in 1987. He trained in Canberra, Sydney, Newcastle and London. As a consultant paediatrician, he has held consultant appointments at John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle, Tamworth and Roma Base Hospitals and more recently Gold Coast University Hospital in 2008.
He started consulting from the MyHealth Robina Clinic in November 2015.
Professor Jones’ special interests include:
-Developmental and Behavioural Paediatrics including ADHD, ASD, Depression and Anxiety and School Learning Difficulties. -Children with special needs and multiple disabilities (e.g. cerebral palsy and epilepsy) -Asthma and Allergies -Assessment of Infant Feeding Problems and following up premature infants. -Working with Children in Substitute Care and those children who have been exposed to domestic violence and abuse.
Professor Jones is a consultant paediatrician and sees children from birth until they finish School.
