Professor Mann is a Surgical Oncologist and Specialist Breast Surgeon. He is the Director of Breast Cancer Services for the Royal Melbourne and Royal Women's Hospitals and a Professor of Surgery at the University of Melbourne. In addition, he is the director of advanced surgical training at the Royal Melbourne Hospital.
His surgical training was at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, where he specialised in Surgical Oncology - the surgical treatment of cancer - and in particular the treatment of Breast Cancer.
