The Port Sorell Medical Centre was established in August, 2003, at 59 Wilmot Street, Port Sorell, to service patients in the Port Sorell, Shearwater, Hawley Beach area. Our Practice now draws patients from many other parts of the state, as well as from our local region. Currently our books are open to all patients. We are a caring, family practice of six General Practitioners, supported by a dedicated, friendly team including a Practice Manager, Practice Nurses and Reception staff. We are a fully computerised, accredited Practice.

In late June, 2009 we moved into brand new, purpose built premises in Shearwater, sited next to a brand new child care centre and aged care facility (both opened in January, 2009). In 2012 we completed an extension to the new building to further accommodate our growing Practice.
