Dr Owen Hughes joined the Maven Dental Feldbusch practice in late 2015 as an associate dentist (now lead dentist). Dr Hughes graduated with a Bachelor of Dentistry from Sydney University and spent a number of years working in Sydney CBD, Bondi and rural areas of New South Wales. Before joining the Taree practice, he also spent time in his career teaching at the Charles Sturt University.
Although committed to helping all his patients achieve lifelong oral health, Dr Hughes particularly enjoys working alongside nervous patients, assisting them in overcoming their fears and taking back control of their oral health. He additionally focuses on building strong relationships and fostering positive dental experiences.
Dr Hughes is skilled in all aspects of dentistry and has clinical interests in the areas of aesthetic dentistry and developing full mouth solutions for patients in need of more significant treatment. He also ensures to remain up to date with the latest in dentistry by regularly attending professional development courses and training.
