Zoe is a university qualified Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) who practices from a weight inclusive, non-diet approach; appreciating that no two bodies are the same and that food and nutrition can be complex! Zoe has a particular interest in the management of gut health and food intolerances as well as whole family nutrition including fussy eaters – backed up by the experience of living in a household with food intolerances and little fussy eaters! She also sees patients for a broad range of nutrition and health related advice including (but not limited to): Digestive health, including IBS and elimination and FODMAP diets Chronic disease management, including Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes; cholesterol and heart health Weight concerns Pregnancy and postpartum nutrition Eating for good health, including navigating through all the confusing diet and food messages surrounding us! Alongside any clinical concerns, Zoe works with patients to improve their relationship with food, body image and wellbeing through intuitive and mindful eating practices.
During a consultation, Zoe will take the time to understand your medical history, social background and overall lifestyle as well as your health and nutrition priorities and goals. Zoe will then support you in working towards these goals with strategies individual to you.
Outside of dietetics, Zoe is a proud mum of two girl, passionate about cooking, creating memories and joyful experiences around food for her family and when not juggling work and family life, is trying to read a book and drink a cup of tea while it’s hot.
Zoe is excited to be a part of the Equilibrium Healthcare team that provides holistic, health promoting, patient centered healthcare in such a welcoming space. She enjoys working closely with the team of practitioners at Equilibrium Healthcare to ensure each patient has access to a range of services that will help meet their individual needs and achieve their best health.
