Vanessa was born and raised in Mareeba, she moved to the Gold Coast to study where she graduated from Griffith University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Oral Health in Oral Health Therapy. Vanessa is a strong believer in preventative care; feeling that all patients should enjoy their experience in the dental chair; Vanessa strives to make patient’s visit as painless and pleasant as possible every time. Vanessa’s role as the practice hygienist is to work alongside Dr Peter (our principle dentist) together providing patient’s with a thorough examination, professional scale and polish and hygiene review. Vanessa is also a qualified Dental Therapist allowing her to perform examination and cleans on children as well as any restorations or other work that may be required to maintain the longevity of the child’s nature dentition. When Vanessa is not in the surgery she enjoys spending her time with her husband and two little girls.
