Scott is the director of Eastern Speech Pathology, and a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist (C.P.S.P). He has worked for the Department of Education, multiple schools, in private practice and at the University of Melbourne.
Scott has a special interest in treating stuttering and fluency disorders in children, adolescents and adults. He has extensive experience in delivering the Lidcombe Program for treating stuttering in children and the Camperdown Program for treating stuttering in adolescents and adults. Scott has successfully treated many of his clients via telepractice. Scott is also trained in the Hanen: More Than Words program for parents of children with language delays and autism.
Evidence shows that clinician-client relationships are directly linked to stronger therapy outcomes, and Scott seeks to connect meaningfully with his clients in different ways, even if it means having to learn the names of all the Paw Patrol pups.
Scott is an active member of Speech Pathology Australia (M.S.P.A) and strives to ensure that he is up to date with the latest research and evidence by attending regular professional development. This includes the Victorian Stuttering Interest Group, and reading the International Journal of Speech-Language Pathology.
