Romy is a qualified clinical and developmental psychologist. She holds a Masters degree in Psychology internationally and obtained Cum Laude of her class. She developed a significant private practice for the past 18 years focusing her energy on work with adolescents, adults and couples with a range of concerns. Romy employs an integrative approach which is one which not only integrates several theoretical approaches, but also all aspects of the totality of the individual, and the world in which s/he lives.
Romy has worked in a clinical capacity in the corporate sector providing telephonic and face to face on-site therapy and crisis intervention. For 15 years, as an associate to an employee assistance service provider Romy ran an all-night (after hours) employee trauma line to a large elite international corporate bank. She also provided extensive on-site and off-site therapy for employees struggling within the areas of trauma, depression, relationships, eating disorders and all work related issues.
