Renee discovered an enthusiasm for food and health through development of her own cooking skills and nutrition self-education. She decided to turn her new-found interest into a career by completing a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics at the Queensland University of Technology.
With a background in veterinary nursing, she has a longstanding desire to care and support people. Renee is passionate about breaking down perceived barriers clients have with receiving adequate nutrition and assisting them to rediscover a love of healthy food. Nutrition misinformation is abundant and Renee aims to reduce the confusion utilising evidence-based practice and practical, sustainable strategies to help clients achieve their health goals.
Renee has been exposed to a variety of clinical cases, both in the hospital and private practice setting. Her areas of interest include general healthy eating, diabetes, irritable bowel syndrome, food allergies and intolerances, vegetarian and vegan diets and sports nutrition.
