We are proud to announce our principal podiatrist at Whittlesea Foot & Ankle Clinic is Renee Caruso. Renee is a magnificent addition to our team and offers not only her podiatric knowledge but also her elite sporting background, Renee recently placed 9th in the world at the 2014 World Karate Championships in Germany and is the current Victorian Champion, National Champion, past Oceania and Commonwealth Champion. This enables her to appreciate the frustrations of injuries that can be holding you back from your sport. Renee Caruso graduated from La Trobe University with a keen interest in diabetes care, general treatment and the management of musculo-skeletal injuries. Renee has a sound understanding of individual footwear requirements across all ages and sports having worked at the specialist shoe store Active Feet for the last 3 years. She believes that having up to date footwear knowledge is a prime factor in keeping people injury free. She continues to enhance her clinical skills as a member of the Australian Podiatry Association, has undertaken a course in foot mobilisation and manipulation which offers an alternative treatment option for many musculo-skeletal and arthritic conditions of the foot and ankle. Due to her long history as an elite sports professional she knows the best possible care can be delivered when the right tools and an elite treatment plan are in place. At the Whittlesea Foot & Ankle Clinic we provide each patient with an elite treatment plan to ensure the best possible care.
