Bec has been a podiatrist since 1997 and has completed research into “The effect of foot orthoses on ground reaction forces during running.” Soon after graduating, she started work at Olympic Park Sports Medicine Centre in Melbourne before setting up the sports podiatry department at Corio Bay Health Group in 2000 where she now has clinics in Waurn Ponds, North Geelong and Latrobe Terrace. She has also been the podiatrist at the Collingwood Football Club for the past 17 seasons, including the 2010 Premiership year. Bec has previously competed in netball at a state level, and basketball at both a state and national level. She has extensive experience working with elite level basketball, netball, soccer and football clubs, as well as elite track and field athletes. Bec has been the consulting podiatrist for the Socceroos and Australian Track and Field team, as well as Geelong and St Kilda Football Clubs. Clinical interests include: Sporting injuries of the lower limb Lower limb biomechanics, including footwear choices and orthotic therapy
