Rachael is an experienced Physiotherapist consulting out of Bounce Blackburn.
Last year Rachael was team Physio for the U/18 AFL youth girls Victoria and U/16 girls Basketball Victoria teams at their national carnivals. She also works at Waverley advanced gymnastics club, where she utilizes clinical pilates and sport-specific rehabilitation strategies to manage international level athletes.
Rachael’s main passion lies in the treatment of persistent pain conditions including Complex Regional Pain Syndrome. She works very closely with leading pain physicians in Melbourne using the latest cortical remodelling strategies to optimize functional outcomes.
She enjoys keeping up to date with the latest evidence-based practice for the treatment of pain.
To further understand the complexities of pain interactions she recently completed a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology.
Rachael is now enrolled in a Masters of Science in Medicine (Pain Management) where she is excited to build on her existing knowledge and learn from other passionate people in the field.
In her spare time Rachael enjoys swimming and exploring new places.
