Michelle is a registered Psychologist with Masters level training in Counselling Psychology. Michelle provides individual therapy for issues including anxiety and depression, fatigue and stress, fertility difficulties, pregnancy support, grief, loss and bereavement, anger management, emotion regulation, relationship issues, life transitions, and adjustment disorders. Michelle also provides couples therapy for a range of marital and relationship issues. Michelle offers both Individual Counselling and Relationship Counselling, as well as psychology services to Victims of Crime and WorkCover / TAC clients. Michelle also provides Non-Directive Pregnancy Support counselling to assist women, men and couples to explore any issues relating to a current or previous pregnancy. Michelle is also available to complete Cognitive (IQ) Testing for adults. Michelle’s approach to therapy is primarily interpersonal and is strongly influenced by attachment theory and a broad range of client-centred approaches including existential, emotion-focused, narrative, cognitive-behavioural and psychotherapy. Michelle is particularly interested in how early life and relational experiences influence interpersonal functioning and sense of self in adulthood. Specifically, Michelle specialises in: • Anxiety and Depressive Disorders • Fatigue and stress related issues • Fertility and IVF counselling • Pregnancy support counselling • Relationship & Marital difficulties • Sexual abuse history • Adjusting to Life Transitions • Anger Management Michelle is a member of the Australian Psychological Society and a registered provider with Medicare and WorkSafe Victoria.
