Merryn Aldridge is a Sports Physiotherapist who specialises in treating low back, hip and groin injuries, hamstring injuries, and lower limb tendon injuries (tendinopathy or “tendonitis”). Other areas of experience include muscle energy techniques, post natal, re-training functional core stability and control and yoga. Merryn has a strong background in treating running injuries through her understanding of movement analysis and biomechanics as well as her background as an elite running athlete. Merryn has worked with a variety of elite athletes for over 10 years, including 7 years at the New South Wales Institute of Sport (NSWIS) and with the Australian Athletics Team. Her experience as a Sports Physiotherapist involved traveling and working with Australian National Team including the Women’s U19 National Basketball Team, athletes at both Commonwealth Games and World Championships.
